Funeral Venue Ideas
People are often very surprised to find that you can hold a funeral ceremony pretty much anywhere - by the sea, in a favourite pub, on a boat, in your garden or anywhere that feels special to you. Toby can organise your loved one's funeral to take place anywhere.

Kentfield Country Estate
Gordon’s family chose the Kentfield Country Estate in West Malling to hold his ceremony. The estate has a Lapa sitting on the edge of their lake. A beautiful, peaceful place for a moving ceremony. At the end of the ceremony which the family asked me to lead, family and friends toasted him as he left with me as I went with Gordon to the crematorium.

Odo's Barn, Bilsington
John’s ceremony was held in the beautiful 15th century Odo’s Barn in Bilsington, a perfect venue for the 80+ family and friends who gathered for the ceremony and to share memories, food and drink together. At the end of the ceremony which the family asked me to lead, family and friends toasted him as he left with me as I went with John to the crematorium.

At home with family
Anne was born and died on the same farm in Peasmarsh and her family felt it was right for her simple ceremony to take place in the garden of the house where she spent so much of her life. Her life was celebrated with readings from family and her favourite music.
At the end of the ceremony which the family asked me to lead, family toasted her as she left when I went with Anne to the crematorium on their behalf. I later delivered her ashes home again.

By the sea
Frances loved Ramsgate Harbour, a short distance from where she lived. With permission from the Harbour Master we held her ceremony at the end of the East Pier on a sunny day with the wind blowing off the sea. It was magical.

At home in the garden
Lesley’s funeral ceremony was held at home in the garden she loved spending so much time in, next-door to the village school where she helped for may years. We played lots of her favourite music and family and friends shared memories and stories. A beautiful sunny day – perfect!

Including family pets
Tony’s family wanted a simple farewell ceremony next to their field in Smarden - and their horses came by to say their goodbyes too.
